Unique features: Embarking on its 25th year, Testarossa was founded by Rob & Diana Jensen, who left their high-tech careers to follow their passion of fine wine and food. Along with longtime Director of Winemaking, Bill Brosseau, they specialize in small-lot, single vineyard designated wines. Testarossa Winery is located the historic Novitiate of Los Gatos where wine has been made since 1888, initially by the Jesuits. Testarossa also has a newly open tasting room in the heart of Carmel Valley Village.
Wine portfolio: Testarossa produces critically acclaimed world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from California’s best appellations, with a special focus on vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. They are consistently ranked “Outstanding” with 90-95 points from the nation’s top reviewers.
Directions: From Hwy 17 in Los Gatos take the East Los Gatos exit to Main Street/Los Gatos Blvd. turn on College Ave. and follow the Novitiate Historic Winery signs up the hill to Testarossa Winery.
